on Friday evening, Didi had a house warming party. since he is one of my best mates here (since college), i still came, though i felt like lazying around in my flat doin nothing. i have to say, i didnt regret going coz it was fun. met a few new people (Singaporeans and Indonesians mostly) and some people that i've known for sometime. went at 8, thought of coming home at 10 but in the end, my friends and i stayed the longest til 12 ish. by then my tummy was full with Coke and Lemonade. had to send home an almost drunken friend (name cant be mentioned coz i love his/her sooo and this has always been my job at parties -taking care of drunken friends).
had a good long sleep that i woke up at 12ish on Saturday. yeay! cooked chicken soup with the flatmates. thought of going to the cinema but i was plain lazy. got a call from KUSMA member asking to become the MC for the hari raya open house on Sunday (yesterday). knowing me and not having the experience, i panicked for a bit, tried to decline the offer very hard but Munzir was being very persuasive and knowing me, i don't have the heart the people down. still panicking, i called a few people that i know if they can become the MC to replace but as usual, they declined. called Nadia ( she was in Notts) and she was quite willingly accepted to be the MC only if we become co-MCs. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR... so yeh went to Fran's house and brought my kegelabahan-ness there. yeh.. i was panicking badly.
Sunday. was panicking like hell. but everything turned out ok coz i just had to follow the script. hahahha.. so lesson of the day, don't be too nervous over things that aint too big. coz in the end of the day, everyone at the open house just wanted to eat the free food, not listening to speech or even the MCs talking. lol. btw, it was a good event. dapat makan kan. and it was packed with Malaysians. met my long lost neighbour who is doin Pharmacy 1st year too. how cool is that? and fyi, Manchester Malaysians are very well linked to each other, eventhough you're not very close to some of them. it's like CNN and news travel. suddenly talking to one of them, he/she asked me about the controversial blog post last term. haaaa.. lesson of the day, don't post/say anything controversial anymore!!! if i'm ever gonna run for MSSM committee next month, i'm pretty sure that issue will be brought up. *sigh* these are the consequences of impulsive and hormone-influenced acts. don't make the same mistake like i did, people!

ooooooooooookieeeeeeeeee. Monday today. 4 hours of lecture done. now i'm just gonna sit back and enjoy Desperate Housewives season 6.
