MY FINAL STATEMENT (ON BEHALF OF MSSM AND KNUKE) TO SOBERMALAYSIA

I'm just going to copy and paste what i commented on the SOBERMALAYSIA.BLOGSPOT.COM.

MSSM has talked to MCOT and IMAM leaders earlier today and it has been concluded that this petition has been spread by an individual, not those societies. however, that individual used the MCOT mailing list to spread it. MCOT and IMAM leaders promised to issue an official statement in order to clear MSSM and KNUKE's names and will help us in finding the person who is behind all of this. it has been really tensed here in Manchester, especially amongst us Malaysians. i really do hope this case will be closed, once and for all. after all, what's done is done. we can only take this as a lesson and make sure this never happens again.

saya orang MSSM dan saya sangat tidak puas hati dengan apa yang dilakukan oleh seorang member MCOT yang menyebarkan petition ini, walaupun kes ini sudah DITUTUP dan DISELESAIKAN dengan CARA AMAN DAMAI ye.

sudah banyak orang di Manchester tahu tentang mesyuarat antara MSD dengan ketua2 persatuan pelajar Malaysia di Manchester. tetapi yang pelik nye, kenapa petition ini kena disebarkan lagi?

wahai Joegrimjow sedarkah anda bahawa kita berada di UK dan di mana2 kita berada pon ada bar? tahun-tahun sebelum ini, KNUKE memang mengadakan gig dalam bar. tapi kerana tahun ini KNUKE manchester collaborate dengan MSSM, kami dari MSSM berjaya mendapat dewan di student union kami untuk gig ini bagi mengelakkan masalah2 seperti orang (contohnya anda) bertanya kenapa kita kena adakan gig itu di tempat haram seperti bar.

biar saya jelaskan pada encik Joe yang memang peraturan Student union membenarkan minuman dibawa keluar masuk dewan. itu peraturan mereka. kami hanya mengikut. bar itu dibuka untuk students yang berada dalam student union. dan sekiranya encik Joe tidak tahu, bar itu tidak hanya menyediakan alcohol tetapi juga menyediakan minuman yang HALAL seperti lemonade,coke dan juices.

sekiranya penonton gig ingin membeli alcohol, kita sebagai pihak penganjur tidak dapat menghalang. cuba encik Joe fikir betul2, kita ni sudah dewasa. bukan budak2 lagi. halal haram boleh fikir sendiri. tak perlu orang beritahu. tetapi kita sebagai umat Islam hanya boleh sekadar menasihati, tidak lebih dari itu. tambahan pula, keadaan dewan memang gelap masa gig.. ramai orang pulak tu. takkan pihak penganjur nak kena check minuman setiap penonton?

selain itu, pihak MSD sudah bersetuju untuk mengeluarkan peraturan atau guidelines yang perlu dipatuhi oleh semua persatuan pelajar Malaysia di UK apabila ingin mengadakan acara/majlis/gig dan sebagainya. kami dari MSSM juga bersetuju akan mematuhi peraturan itu pada masa akan datang.

kesimpulannya, petition ini tidak perlu atau dalam bahasa Inggeris, kita kata "NOT VALID". oleh yang demikian, kami dari MSSM dan KNUKE berasa bahawa pihak yang membuat petition dalam blog ini hanya bertujuan untuk memalukan dan mengaibkan persatuan kami. tambahan pula, sekiranya niat mereka ini baik, tidak perlu lah ada petition ini dan disebarkan di internet. nama MSSM dan KNUKE sudah tercemar dan sekarang kami tidak akan berfikir dua kali untuk mengambil tindakan tegas. kami dari MSSM dan KNUKE bukannya orang yang tak ada sivil dan tidak boleh dibawa bincang. tetapi harap anda semua faham, perkara ini sudah disebarkan berleluasa sehingga orang di Malaysia pun sudah tahu. sudah tentu orang yang membaca blog ini percaya bulat2 dengan apa yang dituduh.

saya cadangkan penulis blog ini sila tutup blog ini. anda tidak akan mendapat apa2 daripada blog ini, kecuali hanya memecah belahkan orang Malaysia di Manchester dan mengaibkan persatuan kami. sesungguhnya apa yang anda buat ini sangat keji. ingat, dosa dengan Tuhan, anda boleh minta keampunan terus dari-Nya, tapi dosa sesama manusia, anda hanya boleh mohon daripada orang yang anda lakukan dosa itu.

I'M FINALLY FREE... OWH WAIT... NOT YET.. still have exams!!

Hi Everyone.

sorry i have been M.I.A starting from the end of the gig til tonight. NOW I'M SO FREEEEEEEE!!!

Firstly, i am so proud of my committee for pulling such an amazing job in both gig and Malaysian night. we gave 150% and it paid off well.

I've been getting endless congrats and praise for the Malaysian Night as soon as it ended. really happy.

as for the Couple gig, KNUKE and MSSM managed to make it big and we set the bar high. i couldn't be happier with the success of the gig. most importantly, all of us had so much fun during the gig. after the gig?? owh well... can i just say that we Malaysians love creating drama. but KNUKE and MSSM feel that these dramas are too petty.. and not even worth to be worried about. after all, we have clarified everything. and some people are not satisfied with the fact that we don't get the "publicity" that we should get. and so it spread throughout UK, Ireland and now even Malaysia. well done people. thanks for giving us that much publicity. owh yes... we LOVE it! keep it coming! in the end of the day, you guys are just making fools out of yourselves.

can i just say.. that we MSSM, KNUKE, representatives from those who support the petition and Malaysian Students' Department already had a meeting 2 weeks ago to clarify this case. no point elaborating. what pisses me off is that these people said that the petition is written by anonymous and they did not mention MSSM and KNUKE's names. well well well.. as written in sobermalaysia, the petition clearly stated MSSM and KNUKE's names. can i just say, if you want to lie, please don't be stupid enough to lie in such manner. it makes you look bad, not us. sources told me that this is a second petition, not the same one read during the meeting. may i know why?? what pisses me off the most is that you sent email to your mailing list to notify your members to sign up for the petition WHEN THE CASE IS ALREADY CLOSED!

so there are only two possibilities here -

1. your leader who attended the meeting did not tell you and his members about the outcome of the meeting, therefore you acted without consent from your leader

2. you already knew the outcome of the meeting but still sent out the email anyway. and maybe told by your leaderto do so.

seriously, what in God's name are you trying to proof? that you are above everyone else? that you are better and so called concerned? or are you just trying to tarnish our good reputation?

too bad. you are representing a very small number of Malaysians.

i demand a full explanation and public apology to MSSM and KNUKE. this has gone wayyyyyy too far.

WE COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT BETTER.

ok. maybe we could have done better for dikir barat, but other parts were just terrific!!!

I'm so pumped up for this next event! the MSSM and KNUKE (Kugiran Negara Ke UK Enterprise) have put tons of effort for this event so i would be happy to see the MAIN HALL AT STUDENT UNION ON 19TH MARCH 6-11pm pack with people!

ticket sales have been going on well. but very one-sided i must say. we only get to pull certain groups of Malaysians here. how about the other groups? it's frustrating when we tried to approach you guys to tell you about this gig and all you did was pushing us away.

we're promoting this event like mad. we went on the streets to talk to the students about it, spam everyone's facebook news feed. not for the fun of it, but i think coz MSSM has never done this kind of event before so it'll be fun if we can get everyone to have a great night of awesome music! no? =D

the bands performing are dead good. nope. i had never heard of them but i listened to their songs and i've been playing them on my iTunes ever since!

gigs are never my scene. what more Indie music. but i became more and more into them, not coz of this gig, but coz i got myself to take the initiative and atleast try to listen to their songs. and you know what, i became more into them!

my mum said the best line for this is "TAK KENAL MAKA TAK CINTA". If you don't try, you never know that you might love it.

4 WEEKS OF UPDATES. THIS POST WILL BE VERY VERY LONG!!

OWH MY GOD!! IT'S BEEN A MONTH SINCE THE LAST TIME I WROTE.

and i haven't been able to read any of your blogs too. SORRY for that.

February was a tiring month. we had our major big event - MANCHESTER GAMES on 27th February. so throughout the month, my committee and I had meetings, meetings and more meetings. then i had to run here and there. and yet, i have only skipped three hours of lecture up till today. *proud*

Manchester Games was indeed a success. yes, it may not be very successful in terms of participation (we had 5 big malaysian events going on all around UK on that day). competition was so clear. but we couldn't do anything but just to take the risk. it was a success coz everything went smoothly. initially it was a bit messy but after opening ceremony, everything went really well. good job teammates!!! =D

the event taught me a hell lot of lessons. we had a post mortem on the event. there were things that we could have avoided or maybe done better. but hey, you'll never learn unless you make mistakes.

besides Manchester Games, i was also busy preparing for The COUPLE LIVE IN MANCHESTER gig which will be on 19th March! the preparation was held up by the effin moronic general office at student union. i was soooo fucking pissed with them. initially we didn't get the venue on the 20th (the original date) coz they eff-ed up. but yeh.. we changed the date and thank God 19TH is available. then had to follow up with the general office. it was a pain in the ass coz those bitches were giving me a hard time. then.. i also had meetings with KNUKE ( the ppl who MSSM is collaborating with). so far, they had been doing most of the job. Neng and I were the only ones who met up with them throughout the month coz we didnt wanna disturb our committee members as they had to focus on M Games.

oohh wait i haven't told you that i went to Warwick Malaysian Night on the same day as my Manchester Games. had to leave slightly earlier to make it to Warwick. the show was freaking awesome. now i'm worried that Manchester can't pull off a good show for our M night.

anyways, now have to handle two events again. the gig and Malaysian Night. practices will start next week. arghhh.. but we're defo focusing on our gig promotion now. haven't u seen that i've been spamming my facebook to promo the gig? gila man. lol.

anyways, focusing on the GIG. this indie band from Malaysia, Couple is coming to Manchester and we are organising a massive gig for them to promote their music. besides them, there will be four opening acts who are British bands - Beat Marshals, The Rays and The Stowaways. they're more like underground bands and surprisingly their songs are AMAZING!! think of Kings of Leon, the Killers. they're a bit like them. ooohh.. and we also have House of Five! think of them as MALAYSIAN Jackson 5. omg. i'm pretty pumped up for this gig. it'll be awesome if we can pull that 400 crowd!!! can't wait.

P/S: I PASSED ALL MY EXAMS! i was pretty convinced that i failed that Pharm Anal. but i didn't. Alhamdulillah. =)

You are 50 now, but everytime when you go out with your daughters you make us feel old coz people would ask you "ni adik-adik you ke?" hehhehehe. that didn't happen once or twice, but countless times and we all got annoyed.

but whatever it is, I still love you to bits and pieces and you have always been the one I can turn to ever since I was born and I'm so so grateful for that. *touching, i know* hehhehe.

Dear Blog,

I've been neglecting you wayyyy to long. more than a week. and shouldn't be an excuse coz i've finished my exams. but nooo... hell starts when exams finished.

anyways, right after i finished my last paper, i went down to London straight away. i miss Aina and it was such a wonderful time staying at her place. i kept on cracking up jokes and we both would burst out laughing like some mad ppl. Aina was going through a rough time and i was glad to be able to make her laugh.

Hisyam came to stay in London as well. we all went shopping at Westfield. hehehe. bought some stuff as usual. then at night met the 5L gang whom i missed so so much. =) it was a hell lot of fun with them, as always.

next day i had to attend the UKEC Ordinary General Meeting. Malaysian society reps from all over UK came and my society was represented by my president and I. i thought the whole thing was fun. i felt a bit like a politician. lol. everyone was dressed up formally and there were motions that we had to debate about.

Aina was having high fever. sadly had to leave her before she got well.

that was last week's story. new term has started. and it's been a week already and i'm so freaking exhausted. i was out almost every night. meetings, dinners.. and the new timetable is not helping. so many practical classes!!! it's driving me nuts. but what to do. i'm still able to cope with everything. but i can't help feeling tired everyday. luckily the weekend has been kind. i was able to have a good rest. =)

my exam results are coming out on 1st March. argh stress.

btw, i just came back from shopping with Nadia. hehehe. no more shopping next week or i'll be broke.

i'm going to Italy from 30th March to 4th April!!! =) yay!!!!!!!!
