End of the month rant

Happy 52nd Independence Day, Malaysia!

dunno why i dont feel the merdeka spirit this year. maybe i dont quite like the malaysian politics nowadays. so disgraceful, watching TV and seeing these politicians insulting each other. WTF?

GROW UP! and i dont like the government too. well not a really big fan of the government ever since Mahathir's era ended anyway. no, not a fan of the oppositions as well.

10 days of puasa, DONE! 20 more days to go til raya. and 24 more days to go back UK.

thank God for the long weekend. atleast i'm off work for two days. been tired working 9 hours everyday (weekdays) and unfortunately had to work half day on Saturday too. Saturday was supposed to be my off day. cut long story short, the clinic was short of one worker til end of this week so i replace that person.

went out with my family after work on Saturday. did a bit of shopping. hooray! and had a good dinner at Bombay Palace.

Sunday... slept til 12. woke up feeling totally lazy but i was excited for that day coz goin buka puasa with Maliq and Syam. Maliq picked both of us up and we went to break fast at Kenny Rogers. kuar dgn diorg dua ni mmg tak sah klau tak mengutuk orang. so there goes my pahala puasa for that day. no.. i'm not complaining darlings. i love love love our gossip session. totally hilarious. then after that, picked up Jaja from SACC (die buka puasa ngan family die kat situ). and we went to a restaurant by the lake. sambung mengutuk orang lagi. as usual our table paling bising kat situ eventhough there were bigger groups of ppl there. ape2 pon, Maliq paling bising gelak mcm pontianak.....and of course... me. i bet the restaurant workers were relieved when we left. watever la. murtabak bukannye sedap pon. harap watermelon and apple juice je sedap. ooohhh.. Syam.. if ur reading, the pics pls!

hope to buka puasa with them plus Shera and any other Petites who are back in Subang next Saturday. =)

today.. stay at home. and Facebooking. and chat with Fran for 3 friggin hours. gosip tak sudah. i think i shouldnt meet or talk to anyone during puasa. really. but no. i can't do that.

A month

firstly, HAPPY FASTING TO ALL MUSLIMS!!

thankfully, i'm able to fast for these first few days.

i've started working at the clinic near my house since last week. just wanna kill time til i go back to UK. and plus, i would be dead bored at home especially during the fasting month. so yeahh...

ooohh.. exactly a month from today i'm going back to my second home, Manchester. hehehhe. i miss Manchester a lot. but then again, there'll be plenty of things that i'll miss about Malaysia once i'm there.

my friend, Sofiya has gone to US last week. hope she's doing well there.

my sis Dian came back from US last week. so this year we'll be able to celebrate Eid as a complete family. wheeeeeeeeehhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

still need to plan loads of stuff once i'm back in UK.

and i'm excited to move into my new place.

and FRESHERS WEEK is a must this year coz i missed mine last year! grrrrrrrr..

oooookkk.. UK is a long way to go.

i still wanna meet up with my friends for breaking fast or hopefully if they can during Eid. i miss them all!

Miracle

On Saturday afternoon, my friends and I decided to visit our old friend, Azwan who was in the ICU at Sg Buloh Hospital. there were so many people crowding the ICU.. family and friends.

i've never been to an ICU in my entire life until that day. the atmosphere was different compared to other wards in the hospital.

anyways, we managed to see Azwan despite the number of people who wanted to see him. and only two people can visit him at a time.

i went to see Azwan with his sister, Melina. i was brought to tears when i saw him lying on the bed unconscious. Melina told me to talk to him and give him words of encouragement. it was hard for me. eventhough he's not my close friend, there was a point in my life where i got pretty close to him, and i felt so down watching him in that condition. but knowing Azwan, he's a strong young man, and i'm not so worried whether he will make it or not, because i know he will. people said that once u have a blood clot in your brain, the possibility to live is quite low. but Azwan is different. i know he is fighting this to get back to his friends and family. when i went to the ICU, i could really see how special this guy is to people around him. he meant a lot to his family, and of course to us - his friends.

on Monday i got the news that Azwan has opened his eyes partially and he even squeezed and pulled his cousin's hands when she was talking to him. he is not fully awake, but thats a sign. today, i found out that he has an infection in his lung. not sure bout how bad it is though.

I don't think you ever let anyone down in your life so please don't let us down now that you are recovering so well. we're all praying for ur full recovery. and we all miss you!! and please, i'm still counting on seeing you in London!

It happens

a friend of mine met with an accident two days ago.
he is now in ICU at Sungai Buloh hospital.
his condition is said to be critical and he is still unconscious.
i may not be one of his close friends but he's still a friend.
and i was taken aback when i heard the news.
i haven't met him for 2 years now, but he is supposed to go to UK this September and hopefully i will be seeing more of him when he's there.

Dear Azwan Arif,

please wake up! everyone is waiting for u to open your eyes again. u still have so much to do in this world. we're all praying for you. and i want to see you in London this September!

life can be so unpredictable. thats why i think everyone should appreciate and enjoy whatever they have right now. it's easier to wish that you have a better life than you do now, because as humans, we tend to compare ourselves to those who are better than us. but we constantly forget those who are less fortunate than us.

Lazy to Update

yes yes... i'm still alive and well.
too lazy to update. coz at the moment, no dramas. no ups and downs.
just a nice peaceful and relaxing life.

i was planning to work, atleast during bulan puasa.. when i refuse to just sit at home doin nothin. but scrape that off. looks like i'm not gonna work after all.

i'm currently enjoying my holiday by either staying at home or just go out and spend some money with friends. Aina called me bratty for this but she's just the same.

no.. i've no plans to leave Selangor and KL yet. though, before i came home, i had like loads of plans to go here n there. this is what Malays call " cakap tak serupa bikin".

i don't know. i just don't feel the need to travel anywhere. even in the country. hmm.. but if Dian's at home, she would surely drag me to go somewhere.

my lil bro bought Wii. which is why i feel even more reluctant to go out.

i can't update you with everything that i've been doing for the past 3 weeks.
but the highlights were:
- Maliq's bday surprise
- MAN UTD football match
- KTJ mini reunion at Khairul's house

in between these main events, i've been goin out here n there with my friends and family.

Harry Potter 6 is shitty, though it was a good laugh.

This week and last week

since i got home, my main mood is LAZY.

basically lazy to do anything else other than sleep, eat and watch TV.. so thats my reason for not updating my blog.

however, besides doin those three things, i was able to catch up with some old friends of mine, both from KTJ and SJ.

so last week was a full week for me coz almost everyday i met up with my friends.

on Saturday, went to KTJ to pick up my lil brother and attended the Speech Day aka Prize Giving Ceremony.
at night, went to Batch's BBQ. it was like a mini reunion for the SJians. quite a number of us turned up. i have to say it was a blast. i miss them so much and it was good to finally catch up with those that i haven't met for years.

i'm taking a break this week. not goin out as much. just staying home and annoying my lil bro or follow my mom around.
but tomorrow i'm gonna meet up with Arif!!

really, someone is messing with me and Francesca now and i'm so gonna get to the bottom of this sooner or later. the links fit almost perfectly and i'm almost 100% sure who betrayed both of us.
