a mini reunion for the 5L 06

today i went out with some of my ex classmates in KTJ - Aina, Hafizah, Ibrahim, Aidy and Izzah.
we expected more people to come, but i guess it was quite a late notice for them.. and i think some of them just didn't really bother to go out with only the six of us. so whatever, their lost. the six of us had fun, laughing our asses off whilst reminiscing the good old days in KTJ. we also talked bout whats going on in each other's lives.

so we went to Mid Valley and the Gardens. had lunch at Chilis and tea at mamak. we didnt do anything else but just talked and ate. really really miss KTJ!! i think i had the best high school days there. yes.. there were loads of dramas in KTJ, especially amongst the 5L but that made our lives there so interesting. i remember telling Aina that i regretted coming to KTJ (i think it was during the first few months i came). well i think i was a bit stressed when i first came. imagine listening to people saying that some of my classmates didn't like me and i don't fucking know the reason why. but as time passed by, i learned dat that's ust the way KTJians are. they can dislike someone even if that someone did nothing wrong to them. and apparently i've developed that attitude as well. very bad, i know. anyways, when we were in form 5, everyone just seemed to get along pretty well with each other. no doubt we bitched about each other, but i think that was KTJ life.

now, we're all grown up. Aina and i used to talk for hours on the phone about our lives in KTJ, and we just laughed and laughed. sometimes we talk about the same thing, over and over again.. i guess when we were in KTJ, we didn't appreciate the life we had there as much as we do now after we left.

in KTJ, i learned both good and bad things, and it's totally up to you which one to follow. firstly, i learned to mix with different kinds of people. i used to choose the people i hang out with, but not since i came to KTJ. secondly, not to judge people. people in KTJ come from diversed backgrounds. some come from filthy rich families with no boundaries in their lives, some come from moderate families (like me) and some are very religious. i learned to mix with all of these people. before i came to KTJ, i stayed away from drinkers and party animals. but in KTJ, i learned that these kind of people werent any different from me. yes, they commit big sins, but who are we to judge? that's between them and God. there's no good reason for me to stay away from them. some of them were good friends to me.

living in KTJ opened up my eyes to the real world and it made my life easier when i came to UK. when i first came to study in UK, i know i didnt experience any culture shock or whatsoever. and yet, i still know my boundaries.
