haven't done anything exciting this week.
Monday night - went out with my flatmates, Laura and Kathryn to Tiger Tiger (pics are up on Facebook). it was quite good, but i think i had more fun on Thursday night at Pure. maybe coz the songs were better there and had a big dance floor to move around easily. lol.
i had a meeting with my tutor on Wednesday and she told me what ranking did i get for my first semester exam. out of about 180 1st year Pharmacy students, i'm number 41. which i think was ok. i could have done better but considering the fact that i got 71% for my average and exactly 10 days of proper studying before exam, i'm quite happy with what i got. and my tutor was well pleased with me. =)
looking back at my first semester, it was purely about settling down at uni, meeting people and just getting my assignments done on time. throughout the first semester, i didn't study consistently. i would only study when i had tests. i didn't pay attention in lectures coz i was having a hard time getting used to them. lectures are definitely different than the normal classes we had in college/high skool. i'm gonna change. i'm quite motivated to start studying anytime soon for my exams in May/June.
today i had lunch with Izzah. i am going to stay with her next year in a 2 bedroom apartment. went to an agent to see if they can help us find some nice ones, but the guy who talked to us said there aren't any available apartments now, and so, we have to wait till May or June. he will be keeping in touch i think. worse come to worse, i'll just stay in any of the student halls here.
Azri and Arif will be coming to Manchester tomorrow. might be having dinner with them.
Saturday is my Pharmacy Ball. i'm excited to get all dressed up.
i may not only be the choreographer for Malaysian Night, but MAYBE i'll also be one of the dancers or actresses. we'll see.
