i didn't know that quite a number of people are reading my blog, including the people that i'm not close with and also some people that i don't even know.
regarding my previous post, i may have upset a few people particularly Manchester Malays. i'm sorry for that. i'm not gonna say that i didn't mean what i said, coz from my point of view that was how i see the situation and i reacted instantly by posting such nasty (i would say, after reading the post again) post.
to the Malays in Rusholme, i didn't mean to offend all of you, especially to those who actually mix around and not just stick to the Malay clan. that post was not meant for you, and like you said Nikman, it's not fair for those Malays who actually mix around with others. i apologise for that. and yes, the vulgar words. i can't really control that when i'm pissed off. sorry!
i think at the same time, i felt really hurt when only a handful of Malays volunteered to join the Malaysian Night this year. we really need to pull a few others in, but people kept on rejecting us. i am well aware that many Malays joined the Malaysian Night during the previous years. but how about this year? i just don't get it and i am pretty pissed off about that. there are hundreds of first year Malaysians that i saw during fresher's week. where have they all gone to? i know some have already had plans for easter and stuff like that, but not all, right?
from my point of view now, i feel like quite a lot of Malays are boycotting the Malaysian Night. i've been hearing stories from my Malay friend about their Malay friends saying this and that. i was hurt when i listened to those stories. can somebody please explain to me what's wrong with them?
anyway, enough bout this. Malaysian Night practices have been going ok. but we're still short of people to be the supporting characters. and time is running up. 2 more weeks to go. things to me are quite disorganised and i wonder if we can pull it off. to those of you who are coming, please please don't come to the event with a high expectation. we're pretty much last minute now, but we're putting as much effort as possible.
